That we “may with one mind and one mouth glorify God.”
How We Follow Christ
Friendship Baptist Church is a Gospel-centered church family that encourages followers of Christ to walk together in unity “according to Christ Jesus,” so that with “one mind and one mouth” we glorify God (Romans 15:5–6).

Meet Our Pastor

Pastor Dan Patrick serves as the pastor of Friendship Baptist Church, committed to clear Bible preaching, Christ-centered discipleship, and shepherding families with steady care. With an emphasis on helping believers follow Christ together in unity and purpose, Pastor Patrick seeks to lead the church toward worship that honors God and everyday faithfulness that builds others up. Dan and his family count it a joy to serve the Friendship Baptist Church community and to welcome guests who are looking for a church home.
What We're Studying

Broken Vessels is a practical Sunday School series focused on how God restores and uses imperfect people through His grace.
Across the series, we study broken servants like Peter and Moses, seeing how Christ’s mercy is greater than failure, weakness, fear, and excuses. Each lesson helps us bring our brokenness honestly to God, receive His restoring grace, and take the next faithful step in useful service to Him and others.
In Matthew’s Gospel, Jesus is revealed as Immanuel—God with us—and the promised King who possesses all authority in heaven and earth. This Sunday morning sermon series walks through Matthew’s account of Christ’s life, teaching, death, resurrection, and Great Commission, showing how His kingdom calls us away from self-righteousness, anxiety, and shifting foundations into true righteousness, lasting rest, and obedient discipleship.
Together, we will see why only Jesus can provide the foundation that withstands every storm. He fulfills God’s promises, exposes the weakness of religion without heart transformation, offers rest to the weary, and sends His people to make disciples until He returns.

Built to Stand is our Bible Study series focused on Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount and the steady life He builds through heart-level discipleship.
Working through Matthew 5–7, we learn that Christ’s words are not merely to be admired but obeyed. Jesus calls His disciples away from shallow religion, public performance, anxious striving, and shifting foundations, and teaches us to build every part of life on His righteousness, His authority, and His unshakable Word.
Speaking the Truth in Love to LDS is a teaching series designed to help believers engage LDS friends, family, and neighbors with clarity, patience, and Christlike compassion. Drawing on key insights into beliefs and culture and keeping the biblical gospel at the center, we aim to remove unnecessary barriers, avoid talking past one another, and speak with both honesty and humility. As we walk through Scripture and practical principles, you’ll be equipped to listen well, ask better questions, explain essential Christian doctrine plainly and lovingly, and point to Christ’s finished work as the only sure hope for sinners.
